Microsec was founded in 1984, it is owned by six Hungarian individuals. Microsec is the IT service provider of the Hungarian Ministry of Justice, and has been developing software for the Ministry and for firm registry courts since 1990. We provide access to the databases of the firm registry courts through the Internet since 1995. Since 2005, we develop and operate the systems for electronic firm registry.

Since 1995 we provide a solution for the interconnection of the databases of autonomous organizations, our system - called Mediator - transmits several hundred thousand messages every year.

The company started its PKI services in 2002, and became registered as a CA issuing qualified certificates in 2005. We have been providing qualified electronic archiving services since 2007.
