The root certificate Microsec e-Szigno Root CA is included in the default certificate repository of Windows and Mozilla.
The root certificate Microsec e-Szigno Root CA 2009 is included in the default certificate repository of Windows.
In case your browser or e-mail application does not use the Windows certificate repository (e.g. Mozilla, Opera), you need to install this root certificate manually.
For certificets under Microsec e-Szigno Root CA, we have a separate OCSP root, so you need to install the root certificate of e-Szigno OCSP CA to use our OCSP service. In case you would like to verify certificates issued for the Hungarian public administration, you need to install the root certificate KGYHSZ (Közigazgatási Gyökér Hitelesítés Szolgáltató).
On the 1st of June 2009, we have started a new hierarchy, where we use the hash algorithm SHA-256.
This hierarchy has a new root Microsec e-Szigno Root CA 2009, and it does not need a separate OCSP hierarchy.
